Ya se siente melancolía de dejar Cartagena.  Dejamos a la India Catalina y lo que aprendimos a través de su carácter y fuerza, la magia de las murallas de la ciudad vieja, el Castillo de San Felipe y su historia de guerra, los cuentos de las luchas entre españoles, indígenas e ingleses, La Popa, las Catedrales, el Mapale, las playas infinitas y sobretodo el orgullo y alegría de los Cartageneros… y también muchos recuerdos felices de buenos tiempos con amigos y familia.  Errrrda, tronco´e paseo!  Próxima estación:  Bogota, Colombia.

We already feel melancholy in leaving Cartagena.  We leave la India Catalina and all we learned from her charachter and strength, the magic in the walls surrounding the old city, San Felipe´s castle and it´s war history, the stories of the fights between spanish, indigenous, and english, La Popa, the cathedrals, the Mapale dance, the never ending beaches and the pride and happiness of the people of Cartagena… and of course many happy memories with friends and family.  Great trip! Next stop:  Bogota, Colombia.

Despues de un largo viaje en bus de Managua a Panama, tuvimos la suerte de pasar unos dias felices con nuestros amigos Rhina y Eugenio.  Muchicimas gracias por tanta hospitalidad!  Panama es de veras una ciudad hermosa.

After a long bus ride from Managua to Panama, we had the luck to spend a couple happy days with our friends Rhina and Eugenio.  Thank you both for so much hospitality!  Panama is really a beautiful city.
